Hydronic in-floor heating
Hydronic systems circulate warm water through PEX tubing installed in a concrete slab, in a lightweight overpour or clipped to the underside of the subfloor. The floor slowly and steadily radiates heat into the room, so you feel warm at a lower air temperature than a forced-air system. Paired with a high-efficiency condensing boiler or a hydronic heat pump, hydronic radiant is one of the most comfortable and efficient ways to heat a home.
Electric radiant floors
For smaller zones like ensuite bathrooms, powder rooms and mudrooms, electric radiant mats are a cost-effective way to add luxurious warm floors. They install directly under tile, engineered hardwood or luxury vinyl and are controlled by a dedicated thermostat.
Where radiant heating shines
Basements, bathrooms, kitchens, tiled entryways, sunrooms, additions and open-concept main floors all benefit from radiant heat. It eliminates the cold-floor feeling common with slab-on-grade construction and pairs beautifully with tile, polished concrete and engineered wood floors.
